Sometimes life events can overwhelm us and we can feel stuck and unable to find the way forward. At other times we just need someone who will really listen to us and treat us with respect. At these times talking to a professional can be helpful. It takes great courage to ask for help. The therapeutic relationship is different from other relationships because it is all about you, the client. I am pleased that you are considering whether counselling could help you. It is vital that a trusting relationship is built up which is supportive and non- judgemental. My hope in facilitating this process is to empower you and help you find resources within yourself.
I treat every person as a unique individual with intrinsic worth. Everyone’s life story is important and I tailor the way I work to suit your needs – always sensitively and at your pace.
I offer the highest level of confidentiality within the Ethical Framework of the Professional Bodies to which I belong. I am currently working towards accreditation with BACP. I am an accredited Counselling Practitioner with the Association of Christian Counsellors and an accredited Counsellor with the Counselling Society.*
I truly believe that it is possible to work through the struggles of life and come to a place of freedom where you are then able to live your life with renewed hope and vision.

*I am a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC) and the Counselling Society (CS). I work within their Ethical Framework and have regular professional Supervision.
